Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist · Dino Kid’s Dentistry
At Dino Kid’s Dentistry, we believe that a child’s early experiences at the dentist shape their relationship with oral health for life — and we take that seriously. Dr. Julia Richman has dedicated her career to making dental visits something kids actually look forward to, and to giving families the confidence that their children are in expert, caring hands.
Dr. Richman is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a Fellowship in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and more than 20 years of experience caring for patients from infancy through young adulthood. She holds advanced graduate degrees in both pediatric dentistry and public health from the University of Washington, and her research has focused on oral health literacy — making sure families truly understand their children’s care and feel empowered to make the best decisions for them.
A Philosophy Built Around Your Child
Dr. Richman practices family-centered care, which means you are an essential part of every appointment. She takes time to listen, to explain, and to make sure both children and caregivers feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.
Her clinical approach emphasizes minimally invasive dentistry — using the most conservative, effective treatments available to protect young smiles while preserving healthy tooth structure. She believes that the best dental visit is one where a child leaves feeling proud, relaxed, and maybe even a little excited to come back.
Every Child is Welcome Here
Dino Kid’s Dentistry was built to be a place where every child belongs. Dr. Richman has specialized training and extensive experience caring for:
- Infants and toddlers, including first dental visits and early prevention
- Children and teenagers at every stage of dental development
- Patients with special health care needs, including medical, developmental, and behavioral considerations
- Children with dental anxiety or a history of difficult dental experiences
For patients who need extra support, Dr. Richman offers a full range of behavior guidance techniques and sedation options, tailored to each child’s individual needs. Her goal is always to meet your child where they are — with patience, warmth, and skill — and to build the trust that makes future care easier and less stressful for the whole family.
